The Great Tree: Stillness in Air

The second arc in the story this scholar wishes to tell. As the fallout of the skirmish between the Kingdom of Galus and the Goblins of the Skullbrood Clan settles like ash on the wind, war has become an evitability. Due to the actions of the former Chief of the Clan, dead by Ilgor's hand, has caused an international turmoil with bloody intentions.

A new piece is set on the board, Neaves Emberwing. Directed by the goddess she had known her entire life, she is given a vision of a Clan far to the west, a face without a name, she must find a Goblin woman. Her world crumbles around her as the treatment given to her by the very people she protects, is harsh and cruel. While she doesn't see the strings being pulled, they are the same strings her goddess has pulled before.

Ilgor has become the center of mysterious events, aided by foreign forces that hold sway over the most powerful players on the world stage. Ghosts that stalk and speak, the attention of a strange Necromancer. The full support of a people she does not know, a future to build for her people. Yet, answers for her questions remain out of reach as she tries to navigate a strange new world. Eroding the former traditions her people held for generations, challenging the view the world has of them. They must adapt, they will survive, and they will thrive by any means necessary.
