Behind the story

I'm Liam - a traveller, escapist, culture junkie, elder millenial, well of useless info, techie, and oh yeah, a writer, worldbuilder and creator. I live in Perth, a medium sized city on the west coast of Australia, where I've spent most of my life. That said, I've been fortunate enough to see a fair chunk of the world, visiting cities, wonders and cultures from Federation Square to the Roman Forum, Hong Kong to Cadiz, Angkor Wat to Topkapı Palace, and much more. I'm also a huge daydreamer and lover of fantasy adventures and worlds, and I love learning about ancient cultures, myths and histories. It is these three pastimes, and perhaps a bit of a god complex, that led me to create the Calinan Sea, a fantasy world based on the Bronze Age Mediterranean.
