The Serpent-sire Shield
This constellation represents a Gehrish legend about a trickster god who causes the death of a beloved god and is subsequently punished by being chained in a position where venom drips into his eyes for eternity. The trickster's wife holds a bowl to shield his face from the venom, but when she empties the bowl he is forced to endure his punishment for a time.
This sign is associated with murderers, tricksters, fey creatures, and dishonest gods or spirits. Those born under its sign are said to be clever, charismatic, and some level of sadistic. However, it should be noted that despite these associations people born under the Serpent-sire Shield are not considered inherently evil.
